但升级显示屏对Switch2而言势在必行；初代机型屏幕素质饱受诟病，未来可能陆续推出。该机型的中框治具近日现身二手交易平台闲鱼。HDR支持不足、动态表现甚至不及前代等问题。增加了这批中框的可信度。但该卖家同时出售大量疑似来自生产线的配件（包括空白PS5主板、原版Switch及Switch2零部件等），仅侧面铭文与其中两款银白色中框存在差异。这些组件至少暗示任天堂正在为新主机测试更多配色方案，
疑似任天堂Switch 2 OLED型号可能已完成原型机设计，国内最大的二手平台闲鱼上有卖家正在出售标称"Switch 2 OLED2024年产主机试制研发样品"的中框，
尽管OLED屏幕可能引发可变刷新率等技术难题，
虽然无法确证这些组件确属下一代机型，
即便最终未必用于OLED版本，
以任天堂对硬件缺陷的敏感度，
Reddit论坛游戏爆料版块的网友发现，在初版发售数年内推出改良屏幕的新型号完全在情理之中。发售后即被指出存在色准平庸、其结构与初版机型完全一致，
